Winston Surfshirt
My great friend Brett Ramson is now a one man show ladies and gentleman! Performing under the name 'Winston Surfshirt.' He's now opted for the 'quieter', more acoustic-soul vibe and was previously singer/songwriter/guitarist for the band's, 'Bidgemary Kiss' and 'Bones bones bones,' which toured in LA.
Brett writes his own music, his quirky lyrics and natural ability to improvise humour on stage have accumulated many loyal fans. Brett uses pedals, makes all his own sounds in a process called 'looping.' His genre, to quote the man himself, is the very unique, 'Psychedelic-sex-funk-soul,' - groovy huh? He also performs covers, by the likes of Amy Winehouse, Macy Gray and believe it or not, Destiny's Child.
He is based in Manly, Australia, but he's doing various gigs throughout London. His new album is called, 'Black Pudding,' you can download it at winstonsurfshirt.bandcamp.com
My Fav's? - 'Was be with you,' and 'My Missus.'
Go check them out!

Brett and I leaving London, it was snowing..
Bye London!
Jessica and Samara take on london. x
Finally reunited with my Girl, happy as can be, so Sam and I have spent the last few weeks experiencing everything that London has to offer. Its been full on, and I think between us we had maybe 24 hours of sleep, maybe. What you see underneath here, yes, its a bit of a mess, (what I can actually post,) but it sums up how crazy and unexpected the past few weeks have been. Nearly home time for us, then we are back for more London adventures in a few months.
Thankyou London, you've successfully shown me what it would be like to live in an icebox, but you are truly the most beautiful city I have ever seen. Until next time.
